Supported by the City of Irvine and the Asian American Museum at Great Park, this is Irvine's first Lunar New Year Parade & Festival — and an annual Arts & Culture signature. More than 9,300 people gathered for the inaugural Year of the Horse celebration, filling Great Park with floats, performances, food, and family joy.

A Festival Built to Return
Lunar New Year is a major festival of family, renewal, and good fortune — celebrated across East and Southeast Asia and by diaspora communities worldwide. At Great Park, the museum and City of Irvine bring that celebration into public space: a mile-long parade, cultural performances, community booths, and a family-friendly festival.
