What is Lunar New Year?
Lunar New Year is a major festival celebrating the beginning of a new year on the lunisolar calendar, focused on family, renewal, and good fortune, marked by rituals like deep cleaning, festive feasts (especially the reunion dinner), honoring ancestors, giving red envelopes with money, and vibrant decorations with red and gold, often featuring lion or dragon dances and fireworks to ward off evil spirits. Celebrated across East and Southeast Asia and by diaspora communities worldwide, it marks the transition from one zodiac animal year to the next, symbolizing hope for prosperity and happiness in the coming year.
What is Meaning of Fire Horse?
The Lunar New Year Fire Horse signifies intense dynamism, passion, and rapid change, blending the Horse's independence and speed with Fire's fiery energy, creating a powerful call for bold action, innovation, and breaking from stagnation, often called the "Red Horse" year for its transformative potential, but also requiring balanced, mindful steps to avoid impulsiveness or burnout. It's a time for courageous leadership, pursuing goals with intense drive, and a major shift after the introspective Year of the Snake, favoring decisive moves and creative expression.
